Above
and below are views of our new classroom. The facility
is very spacious, has a wide dry-erase board, an electric
pull-down screen for overhead and computer projections,
and has a nice view of the nearby hills of St. George.

Computer
workstations will be placed in the rear of the classroom
to allow students to work on Computer flight planning, weather
retrieval, and various operational scenarios while working
on SkyWest's in-house software.

- SkyWest Airlines Operational Control Center. Students will
be able to sit with dispatchers for observation time. The
classroom is a short walk to Operations!!

- SkyWest Trainer with a trainee. A SkyWest trainer will
be also be available to speak with the class to discuss
what is truly required when you're "on the line!"
This is valuable exposure no matter where you will work.

Dispatcher
at her work station. On this day, she will monitor weather,
special airport notices and Air Traffic Control constraints,
as well as track the flights under her control. If the weather
deteriorates, she most likely will confirm the destination
and alternate airports' minimums (weather requirements for
use in a flight plan) in the Jeppesen manuals to her right.
